Engaging with EBE NSW
Economics and Business Educators (EBE) NSW is an active professional teacher’s association, representing and supporting current and future teachers of the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Economics, Business Studies, Legal Studies and Commerce courses. It was established in 1966 and is governed by a Board of Directors who are all educators. It is a member of the Professional Teachers’ Council NSW (the coordination and consultancy body for professional teachers’ associations in NSW) and also an affiliate member of the national subject association, Business Educators Australasia.

Annual Conference – 2 people
The 2024 BEA Conference is a 2-day event, running on the 28th and 29th of June at the University of Sydney. This is a national conference, with over 150 expected attendees. The conference will consist of Business Studies, Economics and Legal Studies streams. There will be a 20 x minute recess and 40 x minute lunch break.
The cost includes a trestle table for 2 x attendees, food and beverage, entry into the conference, a flyer in delegate bags and a quarter page logo in the program.

Economic Update
The 2024 Economic Update is a niche conference for approximately 50 teachers, specialising in Economics. This is held in August at Chartered Accounts ANZ, Sydney. The Economic Update is limited to 3 exhibitors.
There will be a 20 x minute recess and 40 x minute lunch break.
The cost includes a trestle table for 1 x attendee, food and beverages, entry into the conference and a flyer in delegate bags.

Professional Learning – Face to Face events
Teaching Business Studies for the First Time is a Professional Learning event held every year. A Year 11 session is held in Term 1 (March), and a Year 12 session if held in Term 3 (September). Approximate attendee numbers are between 25-45. The sessions are held in Auburn, and is a full-day event.
There will be a 20 x minute recess and 40 x minute lunch break.
The cost includes a trestle table for 1 x attendee, food and beverages, entry into the PL and flyers in delegate bags.
