As part of the PTC NSW Golden Jubilee Year celebrations and reflections, we are excited to announce a series of conferences PTC NSW will be hosting in 2023 and 2024! This series of cross-sectoral events titled “Come Together” will provide space for PTC NSW member associations to showcase the variety, value as cross sectoral, professional teacher associations in NSW.

Our inaugural PTC NSW Come Together- Educate conference is being held in Term 3, 2024. PTC NSW has invited a range of specialist guest speakers to explore changes, developments and trends, new research, global developments and influences on NSW education. 

As part of the conference program, two streams are offered. Stream one includes specialist guest speakers across teacher relevant topics of interest. Stream two offers a range of specific speakers across a variety of topics relevant to professional teacher associations.

Stream One, focusing on teacher relevant topics of interest will include:

- AI in Australian Schools
- Teacher wellness
- Leadership
- Mental Health
- Professional Development
- NESA presentations on curriculum changes and directions.

Stream Two, designed to support associations will include:

- Finance
- Social media
- Member attraction and retention
- Boards and committee member attraction
- Retention and engagement.
- Updates on relevant regulatory requirements
- Q&A panel session from Association past and present Presidents.
