This information session shares details on the opportunity for classroom teachers to engage in a year-long action learning, professional development program, aimed to address a specifical issue related to teaching EAL/D learners in the school.

Presenter Bios:
Michael Michell: ATESOL President
Michael has worked in the NSW Department of Education as a teacher, consultant, curriculum writer, policy officer and researcher, and as a language and literacy lecturer at UNSW.
Margaret Turnbull: ATESOL Councillor
Margaret has worked in the NSW Department of Education as a teacher, consultant, policy analyst and researcher. She is currently researching Dialogic Teaching for EAL/D learners.
Mark Fraser: ATESOL Councillor
Mark teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, specialising in TESOL at the University of Wollongong. He is currently researching teaching methods and practices in classroom that support EALD learners.
